My name is Francesco, originally from Puglia. I studied Archaeology in Lecce and later History in Rome.
While studying, I started working in tourism — first for other companies, then building something of my own.
Together with my wife Mihaela, we opened a small rental shop near Campo de’ Fiori.
At first it was bicycles. Then we introduced Vespas. And soon after, the tours became the heart of everything.
We originally worked under the name Roma Rent Bike.
Two roles, one vision: authentic Rome, safety first, and a tour that feels personal.
I lead the tours on the road: guiding, explaining Rome with simple stories, and making people laugh. No long lectures — just the right mix of highlights, viewpoints, hidden corners and good vibes.
Mihaela is the calm presence behind the scenes: WhatsApp and email support, bookings, scheduling and logistics — making sure every guest feels looked after before and after the tour.
Rome by Vespa is not just a job for us — it’s our life. We built our family thanks to this work. Every day we try to give guests the same feeling: Rome is meant to be felt, not rushed. That’s why we keep groups small, explanations light and engaging, and the experience truly personal.
